Band founded in January 2013 by three musician brothers who realized they had never played together before. Several friends join the formation in the following years. They begin songwriting, play as Upload-contest finalists in 2013, only months after their foundation, and participate in street music festivals. In 2015 they win Upload as best south-tyrolean band and start working on their first Album: Salvage, which is published September 2016. The band has two faces: it can perform in an acoustic as well as in an electric set, and can cover up to 5 hours of covers and compositions and with any of the two repertoires.
Emanuele Colombi was born in 1990. As a singer, he joins various projects, employing his voice in a variety of genres: from musicals to psychedelic rock, from piano-bar to humorous songs for cabaret. Has never taken guitar lessons, and it shows. In addition to playing with the Lads, he performs as a musician and actor in the Bolzano-based cabaret group Cababoz.
Lorenzo Colombi was born in 1994. As 6-year-old he starts playing the recorder; however he quits few years after. When in high school he starts taking drum lessons and he falls in love with the instrument. Moreover, he teaches himself to play cajon for the street music festivals. In addition to playing, he sings in various choirs, among which worth mentioning are the Männerensemble StimMen and the Landesjugendchor Südtirol.
Damiano Colombi was born in 1994. Aged 6 he picks up the violin for the first time and starts taking lessons at the Musikschule Brixen, where he will study for 13 years. When 18 years old, he starts playing also the electric violin. In addition to playing, he sings in various choirs, among which worth mentioning are Männerensemble StimMen and the Landesjugendchor Südtirol.
Raffaele Barberio was born in 1995. He spends his childhood with great passion for classic rock and picks up an electric guitar for the first time when 12 years old. He studies at the Istituto Vivaldi for 5 years, at the Cesfor Bolzano for 2 and takes private lessons from Chicco Gussoni. At the moment he is studying at the conservatorio Bonporti in Trento with Danilo Minotti.
Gabriele Munini was born in 1991 and was raised on Pasta and Jazz. Aged 10 he picks up his first bass guitar and takes lessons first in a private school, then at the Istituto Musicale Vivaldi in Bolzano, with Stefano Colpi. The first great project he lends his hands to is big soul/funk band The Homeless Band, with whom he plays until 2014. He is currently studying jazz at the Conservatorio Bonporti in Trento, where he started countless other musical projects.
